Healthcare billing has impacted family and friends too frequently, and at a time when people are the most vulnerable. Dealing with an incorrect bill, or more often than not just paying it, not knowing if it's correct or not, is more than frustrating.
With more than 10 years in healthcare, I've seen from the inside the power dynamics between payers, providers, therapeutics, clinicians and patients, and I've learned that the fragmentation, siloing of data, and misaligned incentives often leave patients holding the bag. It doesn't have to be this way.
In the world of AI, interoperability and price transparency, we are in a position to have an impact. We are seizing the opportunity and look forward to when patient consumers using CHA Health can leverage their financial power to really change our healthcare system.
